Located across the street from Perry Hall Middle School is the Perry Hall Square Shopping Center. It is one of the many shopping centers catering to the residents in the community. Angel Park is the largest all-inclusive playground designed to accommodate children with special needs in Baltimore County. To eliminate physical and social barriers to inclusion, the park was designed by Leathers & Associates and had inputs from 4,500 children in the Perry Hall area. It was created by Kelli and Andy Szczybor in memory of their son Ryan, who died of leukemia when he was a baby. The project was funded by the community through fundraising and private donations and featured a playground and amphitheater. The playground offers a wheelchair-accessible "shaky bridge," therapeutic swings, a Braille panel, 30-foot accessible zip lines, and quiet resting spaces.
